Event Parking
Public parking in the Procore Tower parking garage begins on the third floor and continues upward. This garage provides 1,000 spaces, so there should be ample parking available on the day of the event. The regular rate for parking is $6.50, but you are our guests!
Be sure to keep the ticket that you are issued upon entering the garage. You will be given a guest parking pass at the event check-in table. Upon leaving the garage, first scan the parking ticket that you were issued, then scan the parking pass as “payment.” You will then be permitted to exit the garage, free of charge. Please check for spaces marked “Reserved” before parking, as these spaces may be reserved on weekends as well.
For those with special parking considerations, those who use medical devices to walk or those who struggle using stairs, a UTR team member will be stationed on the second floor, to direct you to parking that is more easily accessible.
Lunch
Lunch service will begin at 11 a.m. Please include any dietary restrictions that you may have with your RSVP, so that we might accommodate you.
Please forward dietary restrictions to: [email protected]
Candle Lighting Ceremony
The act of lighting candles serves as a physical reminder of those whose legacy lives on, in the impact they leave as donors. At this point of our program, families will be invited to light candles in honor of their loved ones and place them with pictures that they brought to the event. Once all families are represented, we will observe a moment of quiet reflection.
To participate in this very personal tribute, please bring one (1) picture of your loved one that can be displayed on a table at the venue. A stand-alone, framed picture is preferred, but picture stands will be provided as needed. Pictures should be no larger than 8 x 10 inches. All pictures will be returned following the ceremony.
Donor Quilts
The United Tissue Resources Donor Family Quilts allow donor families to memorialize their loved ones on an individual quilt square, which is then joined with those of other donor families. The result is a powerful visual statement on how donors from all walks of life can leave a legacy of life. These quilts are displayed by UTR throughout our service area.
Quilt squares may be submitted throughout the year, but our Donor Family Tribute provides both an opportunity to display the quilts, and to collect new squares. To assure the quality and endurance of your quilt square, please follow these creation guidelines.
The display area of each square should be no more than 8 inches wide x 8 inches tall.
Leave a half-inch margin on all sides, in addition to the 8-inch display area, for placement.
In designing the square, use only “fabric-friendly” products, such as fabric paints, fabric markers, threads or embroidery.
If including a picture, it must be transferred onto a fabric, then sewn onto the square.
Decorations should be sewn, not glued.
Please include a quilt square description with EACH square. This is a description of a donor family’s loved one, and the significance of the quilt square design. Descriptions are limited to one (1) 8 1/2 x 11 inch page.
Sometimes, donor families include identifiable information about their loved one on the quilt square or in the description. We can provide you with a written release, which allows UTR to display any identifiable information that you submit about your loved one.
If you would like to submit a square to be added to this year’s Donor Quilt, please contact UTR Communications at [email protected].
We will gladly arrange to collect your square and provide you with a UTR media release, via email. You may bring your quilt square and media release with you on the day of the event, or submit them at any time during the year. Quilt squares may be submitted even if you are unable to attend this year’s event.
Video Tribute
Time is reserved during each UTR Donor Family Tribute, to remember our donors in a tribute video. This video is a compilation of individual photos submitted by donor families.
To participate, you may email up to three (3) picture files of your loved one (JPEG or PNG), no later than August 5, to [email protected]. You may also include a brief quote with the pictures, but please remember that because of the speed of the video, there may not be time to read a lengthy statement.
Once received, we will respond with a media release to obtain your signature, authorizing the use of your pictures. Pictures may be submitted even if you are unable to attend this year’s event.

Dress Code
Though we encourage attendees to be comfortable, the venue restricts adult visitors from wearing shorts or t-shirts. Business casual attire (e.g., slacks, shirts with a collar, skirts, or dresses) is recommended.
Children’s Lounge
As with all UTR events, children are welcome to attend. Families may sit together, but a children’s lounge will be provided for those who want to step away from the main meeting hall.
On behalf of all of us at United Tissue Resources, we truly look forward to coming together once again, to honor our donation family!
